The countdown to the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) is on, and the list of nominees promises a star-studded event. Announced Monday, Nov. 25, the nominations highlight some of music’s most dynamic talents, with Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter emerging as the top contenders.
Nominees Leading the Way
Zach Bryan, 28, leads the charge with 18 nominations, including Top Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, and Top Hot 100 Song for his hit “I Remember Everything” featuring Kacey Musgraves.
Taylor Swift, 34, continues her record-breaking streak with 16 nods, maintaining her position as the most decorated female BBMA winner of all time.
Morgan Wallen, 31, follows closely with 15 nominations, cementing his place as a country and crossover sensation.
First-time nominee Sabrina Carpenter, 25, is making waves with nine nods, including Top Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
Rising Stars and First-Time Nominees
This year introduces fresh faces to the awards stage:
Teddy Swims and Tyla each garnered eight nominations.
Benson Boone and Shaboozey each received six nods.

The 2024 BBMAs will air on multiple platforms, including FOX, Paramount+, and Amazon’s Fire TV Channels. This marks a shift toward reaching audiences where they are, whether through traditional TV, streaming services, or mobile devices.

Comedian and actress Michelle Buteau will host the show, promising a lively and inclusive celebration. “Music is one of those magical devices that can bring people together no matter what walk of life they’re from,” Buteau said in a press release.
The Billboard Music Awards will take place on December 5, offering fans a chance to celebrate their favorite artists and the music that shaped 2024.
